Sedgwick County Zoo  A great place to get a membership and walk!  SCZ features a walking club for members called "Making Tracks."  To learn more about this program, contact the membership office.

Golf Wichita Welcome to Golf Wichita, the official website for the City of Wichita's five municipal golf courses!  We are now able to offer the ability to register a tee time online for all five of our courses. OZ Bicycle Club  The OZ Bicycle Club of Wichita, Kansas is one of the oldest and largest cycling clubs in the midwest.  Visit this site for a calendar of events and how to join the fun.

CPAA  The CPAA offers a variety of activity classes and fitness testing (including bone density assessment) for older adults in the community. These services assist seniors in maintaining a high quality of life. Furthermore, the CPAA members serve as "living laboratory" that allow for investigation of the relationship between physical activity and aging.

Bike Across Kansas  Bike Across Kansas is a recreational bicycle tour that crosses the state of Kansas within the space of eight days. Participants enjoy the challenge, camaraderie, and adventure of pedaling from Colorado to Missouri under their own power. It is a unique way to discover the history and quiet beauty of the Great Plains region. Cyclists experience the friendly hospitality of the many small communities along the way.

Healthy Kansas, Dine Out! Initiative that supports B.O.B (Best of the Best) for restaurants that support Tobacco Free Dining, Healthy options, and passing of annual restaurant inspection.

KS Recreation Finder Searchable Database for Outdoor Recreation in Kansas. Allows users to search a database of over 450 trails, 3,500 parks and 12,500 recreation amenities across the state for places to participate in their favorite outdoor recreation activities.

NCOA Founded in 1950, the National Council on Aging (NCOA) is dedicated to improving the health and independence of older persons and increasing their continuing contributions to communities, society, and future generations. NCOA is a 501(c)3 organization located in Washington, DC.

American Society on Aging The American Society on Aging has created strategies and materials to enhance the capacity of national, state and local organizations in serving the health promotion and disease prevention needs of older adults. Funded through a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, these strategies and materials are designed to increase understanding of the changing health and social service needs of an aging and more diverse population.
