The Wichita Corporate Challenge is the region’s largest business-to-business athletic competition. A “Corporate Olympics” where teamwork, camaraderie, and community spirit are just as important as competition. Companies of all sizes form teams and compete in a wide variety of events, from traditional sports to fun challenges designed for everyone.
In addition to the Prairie Fire Race Series, the Turkey Trot, the Buster Posey Award and the Greater Wichita Sports Banquet, the Wichita Sports Commission has been hosting the Corporate Challenge since 2003. “Planning and executing the Wichita Corporate Challenge is easily one of the most fun and rewarding projects I’ve worked on, and each year it continues to grow stronger through the incredible community and business connections it creates. The Wichita Sports Commission is a nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating and advancing sports as a vital part of our city’s culture and community life. Since 1997, their team of passionate sports advocates, community supporters, and event professionals has supported local talent, elevated sports initiatives, and helped build a thriving sports environment in Wichita. They collaborate with local leaders, organizations, and partners to create meaningful experiences, foster community pride, and highlight the unifying power of sports.
Why does the Health & Wellness Coalition support the Corporate Challenge? Worksites that participate share the Coalition’s Working Well Conference ideals:

The 2026 event dates are August 5 – 22nd. New this year is a charitable component! Each company will choose a local 501(c)(3) organization within the Wichita Metro Area to support while competing in the Corporate Challenge. At the conclusion of the event, the top three teams in each division will secure enhanced donations for their chosen nonprofit, and all remaining teams will still receive a contribution to give back. Every team walks away making a positive impact!
